The Sunshine Ministry is designed to
bring hope and encouragement to ill Casas members and to
those who have suffered a death in the family. By
demonstrating Christ-like compassion, the Sunshine Ministry
comforts the hurting.
As the church becomes aware of a
hospitalization of a Casas member, Pastors and volunteers
visit the person in the hospital. Cards of well wishes are
sent to let the ill member of our church family know they
are loved. When there is a death within our church family,
the Sunshine Ministry provides assistance with funeral
arrangements, visits with the family, sends cards, makes
calls, and prays for to those who have suffered the loss.
