Kicks for Kids - 2012

KICKS FOR KIDS…
Bring shoes on Sundays December 2nd, 9th and 16th.
We are collecting shoes for underprivileged boys and girls again this year. They can be athletic shoes from toddler up to adult sizes. You can drop-off new, athletic-style shoes in their original box at the truck parked on the plaza December 2nd, 9th, and 16th, or in the church office during regular hours. Again, ALL sizes from toddler through adult are needed.
Last year you gave over 1400 pairs of shoes - let’s do it again! These shoes will bless children and families in some Title I schools in the Marana School District. (last year, they received so many - they were able to pass some along to another school district)
Thank you for your generosity!
Easter weekend at Casas
We’re so excited to lean into the beauty of Easter together! Make plans to join us for our Good Friday Service and then our Easter Sunday services and activities… (info below)
Good Friday Service: 7pm - April 6th
We’ll gather for extended worship and reflection on the sacrifice made by our Lord. There will be a video depiction of the crucifixion, along with the observance of the Lord’s Supper together. This experience will stir your heart and create space to contemplate the cost Jesus paid for your rescue. (Worship Center)
*parents: there will be NO childcare available at Good Friday service
Easter Sunday Services: April 8th
Our services will be full of excitement and the celebration of our risen Savior!
The Casas Easter Service this year, “RISE”, will focus on the idea that Jesus’ story, the greatest story ever told, begs to have all of our individual stories become a part of the saving Grace of God.
The service will take people on a creative, innovative, deeply meaningful and emotionally powerful journey, through, video, music, drama, dance and a live painter on stage. This is a service that is all moving people forward toward God. We’re praying that it will draw your heart closer and that your friends will find this very encouraging - so invite them to join you.
We will also have grade level Easter Egg hunts following the last service for the kids.
*don’t be late, you’ll want to see the opening of the service
Main Services: 7:50am, 915am, 1045am (Worship Center)
Traditional Chapel services: 915am, 1045am (Easter only - we added another service at 915am)

As a Christmas gift to our community, Casas is collecting athletic shoes for the children of underprivileged families in the Marana Unified School District. We’re asking everyone to please purchase a pair of new, athletic-style shoes and bring them to church any Sunday before Christmas. We’re looking to collect 500 pairs of shoes before December 11th.
All sizes - both children’s and teens are needed and any brand is fine. Think “what would my kids wear”?

Thank you in advance for your generosity! Let’s make a difference this Christmas season in the lives of kids in the Marana Unified School District that need our help. Just think, there will come a moment when a child who hasn’t had good shoes, laces up a new pair of shoes to run - and you will have made a difference in his or her life.
