If you could vacation anywhere...where would you go? I've had the pleasure of traveling and residing in many places in the world so picking one is difficult; however, the Cotswold region in England stands out as one of my favorites.

Favorite food: Meatloaf and lima beans. What a great combination.

Greatest indulgence: Watching sports on TV.

How did you first come to Casas? After my wife and I retired from the Air Force, we returned to our house in Oro Valley that we had purchased while stationed at Davis Monthan Air Force Base. We wanted an evangelical Christian School for our children and fell in love with CCS. After attending the first service at Casas and experiencing how strongly the Holy Spirit resides in this church, we knew we had found our home.

Your role at Casas? As the ABF Community Pastor I lead and serve a number of mid-size community groups by helping them to grow internally, reach out externally, and transform lives.

Favorite ice cream? Butter Pecan.

Favorite season? Having experienced the cold of the Arctic Circle, the heat of the Egyptian Desert and the wet of Germany, I prefer any Tucson season.

First Job: Bus boy in southern Indiana.

Most recent purchase? A new cell phone. Nothing fancy, not a smart phone, or iphone or triple zphone, a phone on which you can talk to another person.

Biggest challenge? Over-committing myself.

Current sound track? Anything by Rebecca St. James.

Something most people don't know about you? I love to play tennis and was a skydiver in my youth.

What are you reading right now? The Pastoral Epistles by C.K. Barret.

What inspires you? The beauty of God's creations.

What's your proudest moment? That I have a wonderful Godly wife, five beautiful children who all serve the Lord at Casas, and a gorgeous grand daughter. They all drive me crazy on occasion, but I am truly blessed and proud of my family.

When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? A flanker for the San Diego Chargers or a Marine. The NFL did away with flankers and my Dad, who is a retired Marine, said I wasn't tough enough for the Marines so I joined the Air Force.

What do you love most about Casas? The people and our mission to reach the spiritually disconnected.
