CHECK-IN: All categories check-in (no race-day registration) at Stage 1
on Friday, September 30th between 10am and 3pm at Old Tucson Studios (see
map). Stage 1 Time Trial starts are approximate. NO RESTARTS!
NO LATE START REQUESTS.
LATE FEES: A $5 (junior categories) or $10 (all others) late registration fee will be added to all entries postmarked after September 17, 2005. (Note: a $15 processing fee
will be retained on pre-registered entries who cancel or do not show up.)
· License: A current, non-expired USCF license is required to participate in this event and must be presented at check-in by all riders. First time license is available for Junior, Masters, Women 4 and Men 5 categories only. New and renewal licenses can be purchased at check-in or paid for thru this registration. All online entrants must sign a release form at the race. The cost of the event license is $10 per day, not $5 as previously noted in the brochure. We are sorry to report the 2005 price increase by the USCF and USA Cycling, who sanctions our event. Those who registered online prior to 9/15/05 and purchased an event license will owe an additional $15 at check in. All three race courses will be monitored by Police, Sheriff and Department of Public Safety personnel. Stay off the centerline and obey their requests and warnings. Hassling officers for any reason could result in D.Q. Watch for corner guards and get acquainted with the course before race days. The courses on race days will be marked, but will also be shared with normal traffic except on closed sections, so be careful of vehicles and an occasional irate driver - but have fun and ride hard! See maps on page 4. HOST HOTEL INFO: The Tucson Inn Suites
is our Host Hotel. The Tucson Bicycle Classic Discount rate is $62 plus
tax per night (quad occupancy) to race participants, families and personnel -
you must mention the Classic. The race reservation cut-off date is
September 16th; afterward is as-available only. Make your reservations early; there are a fixed number of rooms available
to race participants. The rate includes a complimentary full breakfast; cots are
extra. The hotel and restaurant are close to the races and downtown, right off
the freeway at 475 N

Call (520) 883-4200 for information. · Results and Awards: All results will be posted at the Tucson Inn Suites Hotel at 475 N Granada, just east of I-10 and St. Mary's Road 2-4 hours after each stage. However some Stage 2 & 3 results will be posted at Stage 2 & 3 Start/Finish area followed by the final awards. Results are final after the protest period; have a teammate or friend look out for your results and pick up your awards if you cannot attend. NO SHOWS MAY NOT RECEIVE THEIR AWARD IF FRIENDS OR TEAMMATES CAN NOT VOUCH FOR THEIR POSITION ON THE RESULTS AFTER THE POSTING -THIS IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE RACERS, NOT THE STAFF OR OFFICIALS.
